Brian J. White, Attorney
After graduating from Pepperdine Law School in 1991, Brian returned to his hometown of San Diego to open his own firm. He soon found his calling in Criminal Defense and has devoted his career to defending people facing criminal charges.

Brian honed his trial skills by attending numerous seminars, workshops, and trial skills academies. He has taken many cases to trial, ranging from misdemeanors—such as driving under the influence—to serious felonies—including sex crimes, drug crimes, and murder cases. He personally handles each of his cases and takes pride in obtaining the best possible results for his clients. Brian practices in both State and Federal court and has been admitted to the Federal District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. Brian has been certified as a Criminal Law Specialist by the California State Bar, Board of Legal Specialization. The prestigious peer-review firm, Martindale Hubbell, has awarded Brian its highest rating: AV. As a Certified Paralegal, Tonya brings knowledge and efficiency to our office. Her practical experience from working as a courtroom clerk for a demanding Superior Court judge, gives Tonya an insiders knowledge of a view from the bench.” Her strong dislike for procrastination helps us keep our case load on track, allowing us to efficiently handle our clients' matters in the most cost-effective way. Tonya is a native San Diegan, and has raised three very successful sons. Her husband is a prominent physical therapist. When not working, Tonya enjoys spending time with her family and participating in a variety of outdoor activities, from riding ATVs to kayaking, to bicycling.
Devon White, Administrator
Married to Brian, Devon has been with the firm since its inception. Devon has served in multiple capacities throughout the years, from legal secretary to strategic business planning to developing trial strategies. She has used her natural intuition and insight into human behavior to help Brian shape trial strategies in some of his highest-profile cases, and has contributed to many of his most remarkable trial results. Realizing that people who seek our services are in stressful situations, Devon and Brian purchased a small 1920’s bungalow in North Park and converted the space into a calming and friendly office environment. Devon currently handles the firm’s bookkeeping.
